Day One Complete!

Hello from England!! Hope everyone is having a great day/evening/night/whatever it may be where you are!

Well, we finished the first hurdle of the trip - made it through all of the travel we had in order to get to the UK. We survived the overnight flight and a diversion to Heathrow from Gatwick and several delays to get back on track with our agenda today!

Today was amazing even though I was absorbing it all after having barely slept on the plane last night (it's okay I was able to watch two and a half movies I hadn't seen before and catch up on some TV I'd previously been too busy to watch). Ah, it was so great today! We got to see Churchill's grave and spend some time exploring in Woodstock as well as a walk around Stratford after dinner.

The food has been amazing!! Dinner last night on the flight was not so bad, but was also not the greatest I have ever eaten. The danish this morning on our plane was not very good but that's okay, I grabbed my own breakfast while we were sitting at Heathrow waiting on our bus. When we stopped in Woodstock, we all grabbed lunch at various places. Violet, Alicia, Kylie and I grabbed lunch at the same little restaurant, the food was amazing. I had this thing called a jacket potato which was kind of like a baked potato but it was served with cheese and ham, very delicious. Dinner at our hotel was good too, I can now say I have eaten lamb and enjoyed it. :)

So. I would post a few photos, but because of a small technical snafu I will not be doing so tonight. Short of it is that I may need to invest in a different adapter because mine is not allowing things to charge or turn on. Should be able to charge my computer later and post photos, hopefully tomorrow.
