First Blog from England!

So I've been here 2 days and it has been amazing. As much fun as I had yesterday it was pretty hard cause I didn't get to sleep much on the plane, so exhaustion was kicking in, but it was still worth being awake for over 24 hours pretty much. Today was way more fun because I was so much more awake and on top of all of that I'm a total history freak and we spent a huge amount of time focusing on William Shakespeare. We toured the house that he was born in as well as the family home of his wife. The tour at his birth home was more fun probably because there was a small video that led into the tour of the home. After all of the tours that revolved around his life we got to see the place that he was buried, which was a church that he financially supported, that's how he was given the right for him and his family to be buried there.

In the morning we spent time with some community nurses in this area. I got the opportunity to go around with one the nurses. It was so much fun to be welcomed into people's homes and see how they live. I was even given the opportunity assist with one woman's exercises in an extremely minimal role. Everyone that I interacted with in that situation was very receptive to my appearance and they also always answered my questions without complaint. I think that the role that they play is this community I wonderful and an excellent idea. It was so much fun. After all of that, we came back to the hotel and then a large group of us went to supper and shopping. That was probably my favorite part of the day, I just felt so awesome running around town in foreign country with a group of friends. That may sound scary to some people, but it was just perfect for me and what I needed and wanted at the time.
